About Shri Devnarayan
Shri Devnarayan is a highly revered folk deity in Rajasthan and other parts of northern India. He is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is known for his divine protection, righteousness, and heroic deeds.
Born in the 10th century to Gurjar parents, Devnarayan Ji is celebrated for uniting 24 Gurjar clans and restoring justice among communities. His stories and teachings have been passed down through oral traditions, folk songs, and epic poetry like the 'Phad' storytelling art.
Thousands of devotees visit his temples each year, especially the main temple at Malaseri Dungri in Rajasthan. His birthday is celebrated with grand fairs and cultural events.
